   What's New for 2008

In the last year we have made a number of upgrades to our Kennel Service at Grouse Creek Kennels.  One of the most important changes to our kennel is that we have added another exceptional dog to our kennel named "Spot".  Spot was born in June of 2007 and is progressing nicely in all of his training.  Spot has already passed three legs of his Junior Hunter Certification and is scheduled to be NAVHDA tested in June of this year.  Not only has Spot been working towards his NAVHDA Certification and Junior Hunter Certification but he has also been a professional guide dog since he was seven months old.

Not only have we added Spot to our Kennel but I am pleased to announce that on April 27 we will be adding a fourth dog to the Grouse Creek Kennel line.  The importance of the new dog is that it is not a German Shorthair Pointer but rather a Pointing Labrador Retriever.  The dog that we will be receiving is a Black male that has yet to be named.  Below is a picture of the litter of Pointing Labradors from Hi Lo Ranch Kennels in Southwestern Minnesota.  The new pup will be ready to hunt in the fall and will be used for mainly waterfowl and pheasant hunting.  Photos of our new pup will be available in the next week or so.

At Grouse Creek Kennels, are #1 goal is not to sell a large number of dogs but rather to sell a small number of high quality dogs that will not only hunt all day, but will also be excellent addition to your family.  Below are some of the pictures of a few of our clients last year with their puppies during some of their early visits.

We encourage our clients to stop by and visit their pups before they are ready to go so that they can not only see how they are progressing as well as to spend a little time socializing with them.
